Diet for candida intestinal yeast overgrowth

Eating a high fat and protein diet (similar to the Atkins diet) can notably help with a candida intestinal yeast overgrowth. A diet that only contains complex carbohydrates and with hardly any sugar can help kill candida.

Candida albicans loves sugar, and to deprive it of it, will cut down on any symptoms that you have been having such as yeast infections, athletes foot and tiredness.

Eat plenty of protein, such as beef, chicken pork or fish, eggs and nuts. Soy will not help out here, so it is best avoided. Eat healthy fats too such as extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil, butter, cod liver oil and fish oil.
Also eat plenty of vegetables, preferably steamed or raw. Avoid potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, beetroot. Avoid fruit with a high sugar level such as bananas and grapes.Eat grapefruits. Avoid bread, grains and cakes.

Drink plenty of bottled or filtered water or herbal teas.

Stay away from all processed, refined or canned foods. Only eat natural foods and avoid all sugar. Don't even drink fruit juices. If you feel weak brought on by a sudden drop in blood sugar, then dilute some juice with water to get yourself back to normal.

This may seem rather a strange way to live, but it is good for the body. You can always reintroduce these foods at a later date, but for now you need to feel better. You will have some withdrawal symptoms and cravings, but it will kill off the candida intestinal yeast overgrowth and stop those yeast infections. Use Rosemary to Combat Candida - including rosemary tea recipe

The herb rosemary is native to the Mediterranean area and has antibiotic and antifungal properties. It is possible to cure candida with rosemary as candida yeast does not thrive well with rosemary and taking it regularly will be of benefit with the result being less yeast infections or oral thrush.

Rosemary is commercially available as essential oil, dried herbs and as a plant. If the climate of your region is termperate, rosemary is easy to grow.

If you prefer to use rosemary essential oil then I believe it's available at health food type stores such as Amazon or VitaminTree etc.

If you want to read more about using rosemary and other natural ways to get rid of candida and yeast infections, then check out this site www.candida-yeast-diet.com.

To benefit from essential oil, do the following:

  • Drink 2 tbsps of apple cider vinegar per day with 1 drop of rosemary essential oil added. Apple cider vinegar has the effect of alkalining the intestine. You may prefer to add your apple cider vinegar to water to drink it.
  • Drink rosemary tea three times daily.

Here is a recipe for rosemary tea that is also good if you have a cold, so keep it in your recipe arsenal.

Ingredients:
2 x half inch long fresh ginger root slices
1 x 3 inch sprig of rosemary
1 x slice of orange
1 x clove
1/2 pint of boiled water

Allow all ingredients to steep in boiled water for five to ten minutes. Add honey to taste.

What could cause recurrent thrush infections?

Is your thrush recurrent?  In spite of presence of a vide variety of over the counter products and prescription medicines for this problem, it can be difficult to eliminate recurrent thrush vaginal yeast infection.

For standard yeast infection basic natural home remedies are normally adequate to correct the issue fast and quick such as yoghurt and garlic. However whenever the condition takes a chronic form, you're looking for a far more solid cure, that will often be a variety of remedies and a change of lifestyle.

Nonetheless you want to be cautious when selecting relief from a recurring vaginal thrush. Many products and solutions that will tell you they are safe and also free of synthetics and chemicals most likely are not truly 100% chemical free.

With regard to a recurring yeast infection it might be that you would like to get yourself properly diagnosed by a medical professional in order to get a detailed report on hormonal levels, deficiencies and corrective steps.

Recurrent vaginal thrush is normally a result of a lacking immune system. Therefore the first step of treating this problem would be home remedies which strengthen body immunity levels. It will help to in halting the condition from taking place over and over. It is also wise to drink  water.

An additional thing that will results in this challenge to look at a persistent form is wrong foods and diet. Sugars and foods that transform into sugar rapidly are known to aid the yeast candida organism. Hence you should give special consideration to the foods you are eating. Try to eat foods without any yeast or sugar in them.

Many chemicals included in feminine offerings such as fragrances, soaps and scents result in a sensitive reaction. It is best to steer clear of  feminine personal products.

Leading a stressful life can easily aggravate chronic yeast infection. And so try to relax your body and mind. If need be, you could try to make full use of relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation.

The one ideal strategy to cure recurrent vaginal thrush is to make adjustments to life-style so as to reduce stress and pressure, to increase entire body immunity, prevent allergic responses and also promote development of defensive bacterias organisms within the entire body.

Yeast Infections taking over your world?

At times, before I changed my lifestyle, I would suffer with one yeast infection after another. I could always tell when it was coming on, I'd get that itchy burning sensation and then start to worry. I had a high pressure job, and it wouldn't be easy to deal with feeling so 'off' and so itchy too. The itchiness was so intense that I wanted to scratch it, but if I did that I'd regret it.

I'd be swollen, red and just even more itchy. It was excrutiating!

As you know I travel in the health circles. I think there is nothing better than solving our health problems naturally and begrudge giving our hard earned cash to the pharmaceutical companies who will give us a 'band-aid' for our problem, but not actually solve it. If health issues are approached from a natural cure angle, then we do not put our bodies out of their natural sync. You know how bad anti-biotics are for you - I mean if there is a serious infection then I'm not against them. But I'm against using them when it's going to mess up my gut, if I have something that I can cure naturally.

If you're suffering from yeast infections, I suggest you take a look at what's on offer here ..  a 12 hour cure for yeast infections.

However, if you are suffering from many yeast infections, it is most likely candida that is taking over. Yeast infections can be caused by perfumed bath products, not drinking enough water, wearing nylon underwear etc in addition to candida.

If you are suffering from something more than just a yeast infection and it's more to do with candida ravaging your body ... then go to this site  http://www.candida-yeast-diet.com

Salad dressing recipe for candida

Using raw garlic on a daily basis will act as a natural antibiotic and will keep your intestines in good healthy order. Keep in mind that I live in the tropics, so you might want to cut your salt down in this. I suggest put a little in, and then create it to taste.

I enjoy this salad dressing almost every day it also keeps any other infections at bay too such as colds and flu.

Jo's salad dressing

3 or 4 large garlic cloves
3 tablespoons of soy or vegetable oil
a third of a teaspoon of hot pepper sauce
a third of a teaspoon of salt
one or two teaspoons of vinegar

Crush the garlic, add the other ingredients and stir around with a spoon.

It tastes delicious on a fresh garden salad or in my case, I use it on cucumber salad. Which is just cucumbers with the skin removed and sliced very thinly after removing the centre seed core. The cucumbers that I used aren't the same as the English one, they are Caribbean ones.. so I'm not sure how well that salad would work using English ones, but you could give it a go.

Let me know how you get on, it might be that you want to make adjustments to your salad and maybe leave out the hot pepper sauce and add honey and mustard or other seasonings.
